Coronavirus and the Village Hall

It is incumbent on the Hall charity that we provide as safe a community facility as practically possible. The premises are cleaned regularly, and we will increase checks to ensure that the kitchen and washroom areas are well supplied with liquid soap, hand driers and roller or paper towels. We will monitor Government and Public Health England information and guidance to keep up to date with the ongoing situation.

Notices about handwashing are displayed. We would ask all users of the Hall to consider others by not entering the premises if  you are feeling unwell (whether you think it is Coronavirus or not) or if you have travelled to any affected areas in the last 2 weeks, including within the UK.

Please go to our Covid-19 Measures page for the current guidance and legislation in place governing the use of the Hall.

Well done to all of you!

A massive congratulations to everyone that took part in the Crudwell 24hr Bike Ride – 2019

A fabulous turn out from cyclists to supporters.

We look forward to seeing you all again in 2020

Are you thinking about hosting a party?

It’s a great idea and the Village Hall in Crudwell is a fantastic location for all types of celebrations.

Then there’s the party-pooper Covid-19. Please take a look at the Covid-19 Measures page where the current restrictions won’t make it as much fun but if the weather is good let’s go outside!

As soon as we are able to, we will let you hire the Hall for your celebrations so watch this space.

Crudwell Village Hall needs your help!

As you may know, the Hall is run by a small team of volunteers, who look after the it for the benefit of everybody in the community. Over the last few months, we’ve lost several of the team through retirement and ill health and we need to replace them.  Otherwise, the Hall is in danger of closing down altogether – which would be a shame for everyone in the Crudwell area.

You need to have enthusiasm and a bit of free time – we’re not looking for a huge commitment. Most people give two or three hours each month; some a bit less and others quite a lot more. We spend our time maintaining the building, looking after the finances, managing bookings, handling publicity and generally keeping things in order. Any help you can give would be really welcomed.

If you want to keep the Village Hall as a key part of the community, don’t be shy – Act Today!
